– Up for sale is our 1967 beetle. We are very sad to part with our VW. It has been in our family for over 20 years. This is an original black plate RUST FREE California car with solid original pan. It starts right up every time and is a blast to drive. We added the street beat black canvas ragtop with new headliner, black tweed insert seat covers, seat padding, black carpet kit including trunk and spare tire cover, new door panels, new seat belts, vdo gauges, empi shifter, 2”CB Performance drop spindles with wide 5 disc brakes, replaced master cylinder and rear brake wheel cylinders , narrowed adjustable front beam, new tie rod ends, steering box, 2” widened fiberglass front/rear fenders to allow for the 185/55R15 tires in front and 205/60R15 tires in the rear on black empi 5 spokes. Early decklid and license plate light. Tires are like new. Gas tank was replaced, windshield wiper motor was rebuilt, door handles have been rebuilt, one-piece windows, Alpine cd player in glovebox, installed 6 wire turn signal switch to operate early rear tail lights, early front headlights,original pop out rear quarter windows, 1600 DP engine w/1.25 ratio rockers, merged header with single bugpack tuck up exhaust, dual baby weber carbs, 009 distributor and alternator. After installing fenders deck lids and aprons they were base coat painted with white to match car, The paint is older and has lost its gloss although it still shows well from 20ft. I would recommend a fresh coat of paint.
