Vehicle Detail
911/964 Turbo S wide body Built on a 74 chassis Smog Exempt baby Looking for something nobody else has?? Here it is! This project has been under construction for 3 years, (I have built 60 Porsche's.) On this project I used 6 bins full of brand new Factory Porsche parts just for this Project. Let’s begin…. The car was stripped down completely, every door, hood, window, suspension part and the, engine transmission removed. The only thing left on the project was the wiring harness. The body went to the paint shop and steel flares, 964 air inlets, 993 door handles, mirrors and rear spoiler were added. The rain gutters were completely removed to add to the sleekness and originality of the car. The body work and paint were done off the car. Exterior Lighting.. Beginning with the front. New H4 lights with custom blinkers inside the light assembly. New driving lights bulbs and 993 Porsche factory front and rear lenses installed. The Wheels were made custom3 piece wheels with black centers chromed allens and a high polish lip for the flare of the Porsche. Created by I Forged Wheels (No adapters) 9X19 11X19 on Pirellli PZero 235/35/19 * 305/25/19 Fat DEEP lip on the rear! Tires & wheels have about 3800 miles The Brake Calipers have been completely rebuilt new Stainless Steel Brake lines rotors brake pads bearings seals installed. A Bigger brake booster has also been installed to increase braking power. The 3.2 911 Engine was removed and put on the stand many parts sent out for powder coating (Air intake, surrounding tin, oil tank). While that was happening I installed new oil return tubes, torqued down the heads, adjusted the valves, installed a new clutch, throw out bearing, fork head temp sensors oil sensors, valve gaskets, fan belt, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, fuel filter, fuel pump, 8 mm fuel lines, K&N Air filter, Stainless oil lines to the oil tank nuts bolts washers. The Exhaust is Stainless and polished Includes a 3.5 Dansk muffler with a straight Cat back for increased performance (No smog required) and polished heat exchanger. Engine sounds Gooooood! The Electrical was updated to match the computer for a 3.2 engine along with newer style fuse panels, wiring and proper new fuel pump. The Gas tank was cleaned and the outside Wurth textured and repainted. New fuel lines installed with aircraft fittings and new check valve. The Transmission has not needed anything. It was cleaned and SWEPCO Synthetic gear oil added. However the shifting coupler and bushings under the gear shift have been replaced with new Factory parts for better placement and shifting. Once the car returned a new front 993 windshield was installed. The entire floor and door panels of the car were sound deadened. The rear engine compartment was sound proofed with DC7 sound proofing. The Interior Electric seats, 993 door panels, dashboard, rear seats and trays, were sent out for new Upholstery. New headliner, carpet, door, window rubber and window brush installed. New electric auto/remote door locks installed along with electric windows. The gauges were removed; new matching faces chrome rings and LED lights installed. Aluminum door handles, shifter, brake, gas and clutch pedals installed. Also added a custom 3 spoke steering wheel in black leather The Stereo is a new Pioneer with USB, CD and I pod capabilities. Matched to separate factory Porsche Mid Range & High speakers. A Sub-woofer and 1200 watt Amplifier was added for excellent sound. The Suspension was completely removed. Let’s begin with the front. The suspension was painted and New shocks installed updated powder coated Carrera sway bar with new bushings Turbo tie rod ends, rotors nuts and bolts. The rear Trailing arms were updated to Carrera. Bilstein shocks added and a new Weltmeister sway bar for better handling. Nuts and bolts. The Porsche once completed was trailered to Johnson alignment for proper lowering and alignment. The Gauge shows 48,000 miles. I spoke with the mechanic who rebuilt the engine.. I have know way of verifying this. To sum it up I have over 1000 hours into the car and about $34,000.00 including the man hours this car would cost about $80,000 to build. For questions 626 367-0069 No trades
