1971 Honda Mini Trail Z50 K2 Amazing Cafe Racer Custom Perfect gift for your youngster this holiday season. Striking custom in virtually new condition. The engine was completely rebuilt by respected builder MotoEnzo. The engine was torn down completely and the cases split and re-assembled. it was put back together with every needed part and bench tested to insure perfect running for years to come. I have full documentation from Enzo offering complete instructions for starting and breaking in the new engine. I also have his recommended engine oil, enough to break in and then replace it after the break-in prodcedure. The restoration of the minibike was undertaken personally as a summer hobby project. I have been working on it since April 2011 and have spared no expense to make it as perfect and unique as possible. It is completely redone from the ground up, and has zero miles on it. It is ready to add gas and oil and break it in as new. The frame, tank, seat, hubs were all bead-blasted and repainted in beautiful rust free-guaranteed acrylic lacquer by motorcycle customs expert Pauleez of Georgia - . The extent of restoration of this custom cafe racer minibike is unbelievable. Badges on gas tank were removed and filled. It was stripped to the ground and every part replaced, polished, painted and chromed as needed. Many unique parts from OORacing in England, Kitaco, and a custom throttle build from Motion Pro in California. A build like this takes time, and I have gone through every possible supplier to pull in the best and most high quality parts that can be had. It is set up for racing with only a switch to flip and kick it to life. I have bypassed the key, so you can just flip it and go. No battery, the Z50 runs off a magneto system. I am a designer for television, but love to design and build projects involving cars, furniture, and motorcycles. This effort came after customizing a vintage Mini Cooper, selling my '72 Norton and '92 Moto Guzzi 100S restorations, and building a Frank Lloyd Wright meets George Nelson bench. I need things to be refined, unique, and very well thought out. This Mini Trail was a labor of love and a lot of fun. I am very pleased with how it turned out, and was planning today to gas it up and take it for a ride, but my caution got the best of me, and at 57 I have to admit I have no business riding this thing at all. I learned that after my skateboarding accident two years ago. This fun little ride is best suited for 6-15 year olds, so I am choosing instead to sell it to a deserving family who will enjoy it frequently rather than gassing it up and getting no real use at all. The gas would just go stale and gum up the works. So please enjoy this amazing little creation. I am quite sure it would blow a child's mind to see this next to the Xmas tree this year. I can blanket wrap the bike and get it to you in short order after payment. It's not heavy, and i can't say for sure, but $300 should cover shipping. I will blanket wrap it and secure it so that it is not damaged. Come to think of it i may be able to put it in a box and clearly mark it as FRAGILE so the movers are careful.
