Over 75 Detail Photos, Please Scroll fully Down. I Accept All Overseas Bidders - This is an original 1967 Porsche 912 Coupe. Purchased in 1976 from the original owner living in Santa Monica, California The 2nd owner drove it only short amount of time as his wife pasted away in 1981. It sat for over 30 years behind a gate in a non-though road in Garden Grove, California. He had no intentions on ever driving it again or putting it back on the road. If you were to pass by the home, this is the most you was going to catch of the Porsche. That's if you knew there was anything behind there. . . Last registered in January of 1981. Over 30 years off the road. At one time, there was a Blue cover over but it flew off earlier this year. Here is a photo of the second owner & last California registered 1976 thru Oct. 2011 Cars sitting away for decades, especially Porsche's are getting impossible to find. Barn Yards/California finds are just getting to be good old story's. It was not for sale & took some time (almost a year) to convince the owner it was time for the Porsche to be in the hands of someone else. Here is your chance to own a California 1967 Porsche 912 Coupe sitting since 1981, Selling at No Reserve With A 3 Day Auction. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ A original 1967 Porsche 912 Coupe with 58k original miles. Spent it's entire life in the Los Angeles area. 2nd owner purchased in 76' in Santa Monica. I still do have the original bill of sale from the 1st to 2nd owner in the glove box. His wife & him drove it as there toy, it was not there everyday driver. In 77' they had it repainted from the original paint "Irish Green (6606)" to Lemon Yellow. His co-worker had a Yellow 68' 911, that's where he got the idea from. He had the engine rebuilt and added a racing crank along with it. In 1980, his wife passed away & he could not bare to just "sell the Porsche". The glove box is sort of like a time capsule. Has invoices, bank statements, registrations from the Porsche, the owner's manual, etc. The wife's photo is still in the glove box , he wanted her photo to stay inside of the car. A few service receipts documenting the miles thru the 70's. At some point in time, he had the front bumper & half of the fender removed. For what ever reason, I don't know. He added some filler to the fender & partial on the passenger side door. The guy did not know what he was doing. The inner wells & front of the nose is in really clean shape. Has a small hole on the inner well. The panels look to be original. You can see the original Irish Green paint chips here & there thru out the Porsche. The floor pans are all original but it does have some rust along the outer floors. Along the trunk in the rear is clean. The interior is complete minus the radio. Everything is in place & looks to be stock. The engine has been sitting since 30 years. It does move & roll around with some push. The 2nd owner says it's the original engine but I don't see any #'s. The original 5 speed transmission still in place. The engine compartment is all in place. It does not run or drive. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Final words, it's a well sought after color "Irish Green" & a desirable Southern California 912. Would make a great restoration project back to original or a road track car. Being sold as a non running Project. * Clear California Small Pink Slip (Title) In Hand * ____________________ Conclusion & Terms _________________________I have set my auction at 3 Days With No Reserve, so please only serious bidding.
