Vehicle Detail
I have owned many cars in my lifetime and this one has been my favorite even surpassing my Acura NSX! I bought a 6 series drop top a few years back, but sold it because it blended in with the others in my area. I then began a search for the most unique one I could find, it took about a year, but I found it. If you are really looking for a 6 you know that white shows the body lines the best and is also pretty rare. If you keep looking, trying to find one with a red interior over the usual tan is near impossible. Finally, having a manual in 6 speed is not only a lot of fun, but also sets you apart. When you put all the factors of this one together, you get a very unique example of a fantastic automobile. My local dealer told me, my car is one of one made in 04. I cannot confirm this, but I doubt you will see another like it. Being rare was not enough for me and though the 6 looked great in stock form, I really wanted to set it off and make sure I didn't see another one like it. This started with me having a full ACS body kit installed, front lip, side skirts, rear valance, and trunk spoiler. While in the shop I had the front and side grills painted white to give the car a mono look. Once out of the body shop I had the car lowered 1.3" with HnR springs. I next installed NICHE 22" wheels and had the spokes painted white and left the backgrounds black. Even with the suspension mods and wheels this car is still as smooth as glass on the highway. The interior I have left basically stock, I did take out the passenger visor and install a DVD monitor replacement visor and wire in my V1 radar detector. These units can be negotiated after the sale if the new buyer wants them. Both of these units are plugged into the power plug in the passenger footwell so no wires have been cut and they can easily be removed. When I purchased the car it had 1 monitor in each of the front headrests, I have never even attempted to put them on, and since I never let anyone sit in the back, what's the point? I have all the stock parts (factory 19" wheels, springs, side skirts, visor) and they will come with the sale, other than the factory 19" wheels, but can be purshased after the sale. I really love my 6, but it's time to let someone else enjoy it. I also have original window sticker and all books in leather BMW binder. I encourage a mechanics inspection at the garage of your choice anywhere in the Charlotte NC area. Hendrick BMW is a few miles from my house and I would be happy to leave it there for the day at the buyers expense. This is also where I get my maintenance done. If you plan to fly in and pick up your new 6, I will be happy to pick you up at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. If you wish to have your 6 shipped I will help anyway I can. I have sold some of my cars on EBAY, including an NSX, classic Mustang, classic Mercedes, etc and maintain a 100/ feedback. I would rather have the buyer be pleasantly surprised then disappointed. If you have any questions please ask. For serious buyers I will be glad to provide my cel number. Thanks for looking.
