Up for sale is a 1978 Ford F-150 Explorer with 149,000 miles on original engine.It has the 351 Modified 400 with an automatic transmission.Body is in pretty nice shape with a 3 year old paint,base coat clear coat.This would be a nice truck for restoration but Ive used it as a daily driver.It needs a set of tires but thats about all it would need right away to use to go to work.It just passed Louisiana inspection 3 days ago.its not badd for a 33 year old truck.Gas gauge quit about 6 months ago,I put a new heater core in it so its ready.Its an A/C model but the compressor was gone when I got it.It drives down the road good with a good front end but it needs an alignment.The bed has no holes or rust,brakes are good as are all glasses.It gets about 15 miles to the gallon,and could use a carburetor rebuild.No warrarnties implied or impressed.In 5 years it has NEVER failed to start OR put me down on the road.I have 10 other toys besides this one and need to down size.
