USHIP is pretty reliable, I recommend using insured/licensed shipper! Let me start with the body/frame. No accidents/rust that I am aware of, it has an all aluminum body. The front bumper is just a stock steel bumper, the ARB bumper was removed by previous owner. The headlight switch is in the dash because the headlights were HIDs on the other bumper, so its pre-wired. The body is 99% scratch/dent free, I am sure there is a flaw somewhere. New wipers front and back. The suspension is 2"+ aluminum spacer lift over factory. The BFG tires have approx. 800miles, still have blue tint to letters. The brakes up front are EBC w/ EBC greenstuff pads. New hardware was installed up front along with rebuilt axle/all seals bearings. I just received the rear rotors, pads and hardware which are included but not needed. The interior is in good condition. The headliner is starting to hang. The carpet has coffee stains but not damaged. The driver door rubber seal at the bottom has a torn missing section from getting in and out. Also drivers seat shows wear and has about a 1.5" tear. All other jump seats passenger front and back are like new. Everything works great; dual power sunroofs, retractable sunshades, all power windows, dual climate control COLD AC/HOT HEATER, factory 6 disc changer under seat, weatherband radio and speaker system are very nice. Now to the cool part, the engine. The top was covered in grease and dust. It did not run very well when I bought it. The distributor/ignition was found to be faulty. I bought a Mallory distributor, new coil, power filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. There was no way I was installing these goodies without a makeover. I had the Disco towed to my brothers Mercedes Benz shop and turned him loose. He completely restored and cleaned up the mess. The top end was disassembled from the heads up. All gaskets/seals replaced including composite head gaskets/bolts, valve seals. The plenum and valve covers painted. Installed new water pump, thermostat, radiator, HI AMP battery, idle air control sensor, belts, hoses, oil & filter, oil sump gasket, O2 sensors, y-pipe and full exhaust with medium 40 series turbo muffler, not loud but the V8 has a nice tone...everything new completed just before summer. I am sure I am forgetting a few things. The Rover is reliable. It had no problems passing Las Vegas smog emissions tests. I drove it all summer to work until last week when I bought my new truck. It is a little cold blooded in the mornings but only for about 30-40 seconds. It runs great and sounds great too. A $500.00 non-refundable PAYPAL deposit required 24 hours after end of auction.
