Great running Diesel Beetle!!! Great gas mileage!!! You are looking at a 2000 Diesel Beetle GLS with a 5 speed manual transmission. The diesel starts right up with no noises or strange smells. The manual transmission shifts perfectly and the clutch seems to be in great shape. The VW Diesels have a great reputation for getting great gas mileage and running for well over 200,000 with no problems. The heat blows nice and warm and the A/C seems to work, but it is tough to tell for sure in cold weather. This Beetle has been driven a lot and it definitely shows in the cosmetics. I will try to go over the problems with the Beetle the best that I can. The bad:The seats and headliner are stained and I am not sure whether or not it will cleanThe driver seat is tornThe shifter boot and center console lid have worn quite a bitThe power windows and Sunroof do not work could be a fuse not sure thoughThe power mirror lever is broken off and needs to be replacedThe rear view mirror is really loose and probably brokenThe trunk button does not work but you can open it with a keyThe rear head rests are missingThere is a decent size dent in the passenger rear quarter panelThere is a series of small dings in the driver side doorThere are a series of decent scratches in the rear bumper where it meets the lip of the trunkThe lower valance of the front bumper is broken offThe rocker panel under the driver side front and rear door has a series of dents in itThere are also scratches and dings here and there that would take too long to go over. I listed the worst issues that I could find with this car. I also posted lots of pictures of everything I mentioned, so look the pictures over well. They are mostly little cosmetic issues that you could either live with or fix a little at a time. I recommend you come take a look at this car in person to see for your self the condition of the car.
