So now, deposit immediately due at end of auction! 2001 Ford Escort SE 4 door. Automatic. Car has 160k miles on the clock BUT at 147,500 I installed and engine with 64k miles and replaced the transmission with one that had 71k miles. I have personally driven this car over 10k miles and it runs great. The tires are newer and easily have 80-90% tread left. I commute about 40 minutes one way to work and has never gotten less than 32 mpg, but usually 34+ and will cruise 75mph all day long. A/C works great, as well as heat. The only bad things with the car:The front brakes tend to squeal on dry days.The gas gauge is very very inaccurate (common with these escorts) I use the tripmeter more so than the gas gauge. Needless to say I found out the hard way.A guy clipped me backing out of a parking spot. It dented in the 1/4 panel near the gas fill. Could probably be popped out to look better, but hasn't bothered me.When car sits overnight, get a small transmission oil spot. I noticed one tire has a plug in it.One rear window crank is broken off at the knob, handle still there. Best thing about these cars is they are so cheap to maintain.
