Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1998 Chevrolet Silveradio 1500 pickup. ***Vehicle has recently been wrecked and is not currently operational***. Quotes have been estimated at approximately $500.00 for parts, not including labor. Vehicle was bought used with approximately 20,000 miles. Since owning the vehicle, owner has put a new fuel pump on, as well as replacing the transmission. Current transmission has about 85,000 miles on it. Vehicle was running strong, prior to the collision. Vehicle still cranks and runs fine. The damage was caused from a low speed collision, with a parking lot light pole, during the a storm. Most of the damage is cosmetic, no frame damage. Owner believes buyer will need to replace the fenders, hood, grill, bumper and possibly a radiator. The vehicle has a good paint job, with no rust. Vehicle also comes with a fiberglass bed shell, in great shape. Vehicle has towing package and two brand new rear tires. Buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle. ***Vehicle was wrecked on Feb 2, 2011, the photos show incorrect date. Camera time and date needs to be reset*** Vehicle interior is in a good shape. No cracks or tears. On Nov-02-11 at 16:56:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Just some additional information about the truck. First of all, I have added additional pictures. I am selling the truck for my father, so I actually went and looked at it myself. All the damage listed prior is correct to the best of our knowledge. We did notice that it appears that a "pin" "bolt" of some type is missing from the steering, meaning the left wheek can be turned by hand. According to my father, that was not like that after the wreck. It is possible when it was towed for insurance claim purposes that maybe the tow driver removed it for some reason. Just not really sure. As you can see in the pictures, the right front wheel is not currently on the truck. It can be put back on. I also inspected the engine and interior. I can see no damage to the engine and when started, runs very smooth. The interior looks decent. It will need to be washed and the carpet scrubbed, but after its cleaned up, I think it will look pretty good. The drivers side door panel is off, but is fine and can be put back on. The window had come off the track and parts needed to be replaced. My father got the replacement parts off another truck and are ready to be put on. He has just not had the time to replace them.
