Normal.dotm 0 0 1 100 572 JW's Dream Machines 4 1 702 12.0 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Let's try this one more time....I'm re-listing the bike for a low buy it now price of $3,000. First to hit on the buy it now will be a very wise and lucky owner of one of the nicest standards on ebayWay back when big, naked fours were called standards, or just plain motorcycles, a handful of fresh-face engineers at Honda R&D were dreaming up something different. Something they wanted to ride. Working after hours and weekends without adult supervision, they called that bike the "Big One". Senior management liked the idea, which evolved into the 1992 CB1000. When it came to America two years later, everyone with an aversion to cruel ergonomics and acres of plastic bodywork liked it, too. And unlike the average mid-’90s standard, there’s nothing standard about this one... This pampered family pet has been loved and nurtured its entire life. It is often mistaken for a brand new bike. I can only describe this bike as pristine. It looks and runs like the day it rolled off the showroom floor. Only 11,600 pampered miles. Always kept inside and never dropped or abused by either of the two previous adult owners. It has recently been serviced and is ready to go coast to coast with no issues. Take a good long hard look at the featured photos as well as more detailed photos and a video of the bike starting and running on my photobucket site: Most of the time I warn people that the photos sometimes make the bike look better than it really appears in person....not so in this case. The photos just don't do it justice. The paint and chrome shine like new and man....it is fast! Has a Barracuda Exhaust, Genmar Risers, & Engine Sliders. Also have a set of 17 inch Blackbird wheels to go with, they are a bolt on swap. The tires are almost new (Metzler ME880 Marathons). No dents or scratches in the body work or tank. Would make a great touring bike. Have the original exhaust, shop manual and owners manual that goes to the new owner. You can see more photos of the bike on my photobucket site. link ://s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss49/jwalte01/1994%20Honda%20CB1000/ I have a clear Texas title in my name. Please be sure that you have the money to purchase the bike if you are bidding. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Keep in mind that this classic bike is over 17 years old. Any description on the condition of this bike are my opinion, depending on the buyers expectations(and I have had many times experienced differing opinions from potential buyers) and their grading of bikes on a scale of 1 to 10, with ten being pristine like new. Again, my opinion, I would rate this bike a 9.5 on a scale of 10 So you are more than welcome to come see it in person, and if you are not sure, please don’t bid. As I am expressing how I see the vehicle. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you have the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes, and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All of this being said please take a look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have. Or come by and check it out in person before you bid. The bike will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee. We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. I may also advertise it locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. .
