1972 Alfa Romeo GTAm Street Legal Race Car Tribute, One of a Kind.Custom Built tribute car built at a premier Alfa Shop, Besic Motorsports in Glen Ellyn, Il. taking over 2 years to finalize. The end result is probably one of the best GTAm tribute cars on the market. Motor is a 2.0 Twin Spark 10:1 comp. ratio, dyno reading is (real)198 HP & 170 TQ. It has a new hydraulic clutch assembly, new flywheel,rebuilt close ratio transmission, rebuilt rear end. Suspension is all new with Racing set up, Frame has been stiffened, Uni-body tied front and rear. A custom flat floor has been installed giving better foot peddle control. The brakes are New, with front to rear adj. bias. This car was taken completely down and put back together piece by piece. All of the wiring harness is new, all the lights and turn signals work. Doors have New aluminum skins, New Special Recaro Race seats with lumbar support made for this car (after trial and error). All the gauges work as shown in the video. New Exhaust, New fuel cell, many new bolts, mounts, etc. added. Windshield is new with working wipers, other windows are plexiglass. New Mini-lite 8 X 15 wheels and tires. Fenders are fiberglass and installed the correct way. This car is fresh and has not been on to the track. It can be street driven ( lights, turn signals & wipers work) or used in historic races. It is ready to enjoy. Watch the video's. When this car starts up it has a great sound to it. Inside this car is a bare as you can get and you can hear that sweet motor. This car is stripped down to about 2000 LBS, so you can imagine how well it will handle on the track.
