This is my mother's 2001 F-150 with reasonable miles for its age and has been very well maintained. She purchased it new right from the local dealer and has had all the work done there until the service plan and warranty expired. Since then, I, her son, has tended to it and kept it up for her since she has never planned on selling it. It's been her commuter to and from work (50 miles a day for quite some time, and it's been used to haul hay for feeding the farm animals, and is now sitting at my house to be sold for her. I drive it several times a week now to haul trash and to work some. She had a hip replacement and hasn't been able to get in and out of it for the past year or more. She thought maybe after healing it would be easier, but her ankles now are giving trouble and she just rather sell the truck than have it sitting around. This year alone I've replaced all four shocks, oxygen (O2) sensors, K&N air filter, wipers, lights, pcv valves, radiator & thermostat, some aged harnesses, front brakes and rotors (rear are fine), and I've also replaced the intake and head gaskets a couple years ago. This year I pulled the intake plenum to ensure everything still looks good and free of sludge. I just flushed the transmission this month as well. The new BFGoodrich all-terrain tires are still new with less than 2500 miles. They are oversized to 265/70-16 and ride beautifully. Four wheel drive works perfect and prevents much from keeping you from where you want to go! Nothing has been modified or molested by youngsters; the truck is all stock equipment except for the K&N factory replacement filter for fuel mileage.The interior is in great shape, no tears on seats or stains. It has a rubber floor that makes keeping it clean even easier. The paint isn't rough, but has some small nicks on the front for the tube of touch-up paint laying in the glove box, and there's a spot on the tailgate thanks to a car wash facility.Please email me if you would like to get to know this beauty a little better. Selling this truck has never before been considered, but with a few things changing, my mother's hip cannot keep driving it.
