Vehicle Detail
Our little Green Machine up for sale, Needs a little TLC, we bought it 10+ years ago, it ran well and very fun to drive, but obtained other cars, so it was stored in the garage. Moved from garage to car port, then garage, and back, started and drove 3-4 times a year, changed oil once a year, being stored, until last year n 1/2 has been parked in driveway. We had planned to do some restoration, but other projects are in line to do. So, regretfully we are offering it to someone with the time to make a daily driver, or a restore project. It has a few dings and small rust spots that need worked. Some can be done at home, depending on your experience, but are minor, missing right front signal lense, still available last year when I checked, needs an oil seal, developed a small leak down to the heater manifold, causing smoke on engine exterior, and heater vents, engine exhaust does not smoke. Mileage reads 68044, This year we discovered a gas leak, so have replaced all pressure fuel lines, new plugs and points condenser, Starts and runs, but a little sluggish, still needs tuned. Transmission works ok started and drove last week about 3 miles. Brakes are working , Electric lights all good, Tires are fare, hold air good, but showing some age, spare and jack included. Also has factory auxiliary Heater. Front seats are good, a few splits need covers, back seat good 1 inch tear near edge front, I found a full set, front and back, online for under 200.00. Carpets all good, panels very good, but small tear on pass. door 2 inch. needs visor clips, and rear view mirror. Headliner has small 4 inch tear by hatch in back.Exterior, paint of course is faded, a new coat would really bring it to life, a few dings and small rust spots, easily fixed , some on left rocker is the worst, light surface rust on floor panels, others are small bubbles on edges.Interior Paint is in Great Condition Front bumper needs reshaped. Some chrome strips have been removed, but I have them to go with car. Glass and seals, and guides, all in very good condition, except front windshield has crack, still legal to drive in my state. We do get a couple months of winter here, but mostly it's a dry climate, with most water derived from irrigation reservoirs. We reserve the right to end auction early, if sold locally.I have included everything I can think of, any questions, please ask. No warranty is implied, sold as is, have clear title in hand, I hope you have fun with this classic as we did. Deposit of $300.00 due at end of sale, non refundable.
