Here we have my 1989 Dodge Shelby CSX-VNT. The car has 70,000 original miles and is in good condition with no rust or major damage. This car is completely original right down to the fiberide wheels that are in great condition. This car is number 152 of 500 built. I drove this car all summer until I started getting some noise out of the transmission. I took it to a shop and they said the transmission is bad. Prior to the trans causing problems everything on the car was working properly including the turbo which had great boost. It has the Getrag A555 transmission in it and if you are familiar with them they are very hard to find. I do have a bonus for the high bidder. I have another transmission that was pulled from a low mileage shelby that will go with the car. The car is driveable now but has no 5th gear. For it's age the car is in really good condition. The car was original purchased in Yorba LInda, CA and remained there until 1997 when the car was brought to Minnesota to put in a Museum. Since 1997 the vehicle has only had 2000 miles put on it. The interior is in great condition except for the drivers seat that has some damage from getting in and out of. The body is good and the paint shines nice except for the hood. It has a few minor scratches and small dents. It does have a new windshield and the last picture was taken prior to the windshield being installed. Since the car is used it is sold with no warranty and any shipping arrangements/cost is the responsibility of the high bidder. I do have the car for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. I will not end the auction once the reserve is met.
