2001 BMW - R1150GS, - I am selling my extra clean, rare, canary-yellow, 2001 R 1150 GS. It has an 1130cc, twin cylinder, boxer engine, 6-speed transmission, with ABS. – The extras on the bike are: AeroFlow Windshield, TouraTech hand-guardsGivi Maxia Monokey rear top-case, original BMW side-saddles, 'After-market' lower seat ($325)engine guards, ($300)heated grips, THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES, DINGS, OR DENTS with the exception of one minor spot, low on the right-side gas tank (see picture.) The chrome and aluminum are in perfect shape. The tires are Metzler’s with 80% left. The bike runs and drives great, VERY smooth shifting, and starts right up. - I am the second owner of this beautiful machine, purchased it just this summer. It has just over 36,000 miles on it, all services are completed. It always been kept in a garage; and has only been ridden by an experienced-(older)-adult. Miles are 95% highway. I have the owner's manual, the service booklet, and a big, thick Clymer's Maintenane Manual that goes with the bike. I've got too many bikes is the reason for the sale; (and my wife said get rid of some.) - This bike is ABSOLUTELY ready for a long trip, and I could ride it to Maine starting in the morning if I wanted to. It’s primarily BMW-‘stock’, so you can personalize it any way you want with your own "farkles ‘n sparkles". I’ve added a brand new lower seat, which lowers it to a seated-height of 31" - (both seats go with the bike), and a Garmin GPS, Everything goes with the bike.
