1954 Buick Special sedan. 44,200 original miles. Car has 264 cu in V8, manual steering, manual brakes, Dynaflow transmission. This car has been in 3 Concours level shows, the most recent being the Monmouth County Concours D' Elegance which is where these photos were taken on October 1, 2011. New period correct chrome wire wheels added last year. Body was repainted about 5 years ago and does have some touch ups but nothing to keep it out of a concours show. Dash is beautiful. Interior is original except for the carpet which was replaced 2 years ago. Engine compartment painted and detailed 3 years ago. Trunk is original and presentable with original spare. I have many receipts from the previous owner showing many thousands of dollars in work performed. Bumpers, grill and exterior trim pieces have all been rechromed to show quality. Tho only real problem with the car is paint has bubbled up on a 3" section of the drivers side rear fender above the wheel well directly above the trim spear as seen in the last couple pictures. This car has won numerous trophies at shows including "Best Chrome". This is a really beautiful Buick you will be proud to own.
