Needs complete paint job and the engine is bad. When we laid it up, the engine started banging, (rod, crankshaft?), I don't know. I am not an engine guy. I always had the intention to surprise my wife and put it back on the road and that was 15-16 years ago. She thought it went to scrapyard heaven and I led her to believe that it did. Now my plans have changed and getting too old to get into it. The white interior has yellowed somewhat and the headliner has started to droop. There is some rust spots by the rocker panels and the paint on the hood and trunk is completely bubbled up. When I took the car cover off of it 3 weeks ago and saw the condition of the paint, it made me sick. It must have accumulated moisture and it went under the paint. The transmission was completely rebuilt just before we laid it up. As of this writing, I cannot remember if the winshield had a crack in it or not.. I will check tomorrow. Now I have to move it because the garage that it is stored in is getting torn down and I don't want to be bothered anymore. I hate for this car to go to a scrap metal yard and get destroyed so I am hoping someone can either try to restore it or part it out.
