Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1973 Mustang Coupe Original Owners Manual, Owner-card (Warranty ID Card has VIN Tag attached), Texas Title. Alabama is a no title state for Vehicles from 1973 and prior. Therefore the Title has not been transferred from Texas. The odometer shows 22,429K which appears to be 122K based on the condition of the vehicle. Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Auto Transmission, Air Conditioning. We bought the vehicle for my daughter who is about to turn 16. It has PS, PDB, A/C, AT. She found a different vehicle she liked better and now the Mustang needs to go. The color appears to be original but the paint job is not. It’s been painted at least once. It has minor dings and road wear from use. The car was being driven daily when we bought it and has been driven often by me since. It’s appeal.: Nothing really has to be done to it. It can be driven just as it is. The A/C works well. The brakes and steering work well and the tires are in good condition. The 1973 Mustang, Blue with White Vinyl Top and White interior is not a highly sought after model, therefore It has had little if anything done to it over the years. It has the original AM Radio which works fine. Somewhere in the 70’s a FM Converter was added which also works fine. The center speaker is still intact and works fine. A couple of cheap speakers were added. They are surface mounted at the firewall and the right kickpanel. The rest of the interior is stock. It’s in worn but usable condition. The rear seat has pulled apart at the seam which could be re-sewn. The seat covers themselves are still intact. The carpet where the front seats bolt is worn and torn. Two seat belts are missing the locking mechanism. The passenger side front and drivers side rear. All items work. All lights, turn signals indicator lights, buzzers, A/C, Radio, horn blah blah blah. Everything works. The 302 2V runs good. If you are looking for a Collector Hot Rod that’s going to be worth $50k to $100K down the road then you should keep moving. This is not the car you’re after. But, if you are looking for an Old Mustang to drive, you don’t want to spend a lot of money, like Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning and want one that doesn’t need body parts replaced everywhere, this is it. It’s not pretending to be something it’s not. It’s a 1973 Coupe with comfort features. It’s plain and simple and would be great to drive to School or work. The Floor Pans, Trunk Pan, Torque Boxes, everywhere the Mustang is subject to rust, is NOT rusty. It does have issues but not structural. There is a small rust spot at the back window where the Glass Trim and the Trunk deck meet. It's not rusted through and would not be a major concern. The paint is okay for driving. It has road wear, rock dings and such. There are some squeaks so at some point some bushings will need to be replaced. The rear seat needs re-sewn at some point. If passengers are going to ride then two locking mechanisms for the seat belts will be needed. I’ve tried to get pictures of all the known bad spots. I've tried to mention all the problems I'm aware of. I think I've made the vehicle sound much worse than it is. As I said earlier, I've been driving the car with no issues. There is no serious rust or body damage on the vehicle and everything works well. If you have questions don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll answer the best I can. I’ve sold several Vehicles and I’d prefer you to know all the bad now than later. The car is in Great shape and I’ve been driving it daily. It was driven from Texas to Alabama before I bought it. Hopefully no surprises. All the known problems I’ve found, I’ve mentioned in the details. A deposit by Paypal is acceptable. Final Payment should be in Cash. If you want to use Cashier's check or Money orders, those are acceptable but will have to be cashed prior to the vehicle leaving the premise. Pickup or delivery is the responsibility of the buyer.
