AS IS DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Period I only want the motorcycle picked up with a truck. I will not ship the motorcycle. Thank you. Great parts bike. Complete Motorcycle. Motorcycle was running fine on the last ride. But with starter gear issues. Gears were removed to match up and replace, and then this not running issue came about . I was told second gear shifter fork needs to be serviced. . Just to be safe, and so no one gets the wrong impression. I believe the motor and transmission are unrepairable . Seat covering is totally ripped to shreds, foam is not to bad, could be reused. "This maybe a deal for the pros". Frame has many repair weld spots near and above kick stand area. Major services (valve adjustements ect,) were done on 7,500 mile mark every time. Oil Changes every 3000 miles Im am selling my dr650se motorcycle as a basic parts bike, nothing else. Paper work and tags are up to date, because this is my commuter motorcycle, so the tires are bold. D I D chain works, but needs replacing. I have some records. My 1998 suzuki dr650se would not start. Oil leaked heavy while trying to start. Motorcycle is 100% stock. The only features that were altered was the kick stand safty switch and shift lever repair. The kick stand switch wires were looped( by passed) taped and tucked back in the original location. At around 17,000 miles, the paper base gasket was replaced with a metal base gasket. Because of oil blow by (oil leaking). The job required head gasket replacement and other gaskets that were along the way. Cylinder barrel was touched up/ slightly honed, high up, close to the head. Very faint ridge on the wall of cylinder was found and fixed. Other than needing the two starter gears replaced. Before today my 1998 DR650SE dual sport was 100% relieable. I bought this motorcycle from Merced Power Sports; as a used unit, a few years ago with 1,200 mile on the odometer. This is a list of parts that i think, can not be reused to my knowledge, 'Im not a shop mechanic' : Engine Tranmission handle bar grips tires chain seat cover starter gears set 2 pieces rear foot break leaver bent to death passenger foot pegs missing air cleaner missing 1 front reflector This is a used motorcycle with wear. The over all look is still fairly good. Picture is an example, and is not of the actual motorcycle.
