Did you know that nearly EVERY movie....old and new....shows at least ONE Volvo in it?? I don't know why...I just know. If you didn't notice it before....YOU WILL NOW!! Needing another car?? Second driver or gas saver? Time for a teen in the family to drive?? Here you go.... .....Safest cars in the world!!! In my opinion....the most reliable as well! The car is in great condition inside and out. Mechanically, I see no problems or anything wrong with the car. I've done my usual inspections which includes(not limited to) fluids, filters, brakes, suspension, CV joints, A/C, spark plugs and timing belt. The timing belt has been changed recently as it sports the "Contitech" brand which is the Volvo Aftermarket brand. No noticeable wear leads me to believe it's been done within the last 30k miles! Spark plugs are Volvo labeled and don't need replacing. Oil has been changed by yours truly and I even removed a MAHN brand filter!! Mahn is also aftermarket Volvo parts. It's basically a relabeled Volvo product not sold by Volvo. Most quality Volvo repair shops use Mahn and Contitech. Dealer quality without being a dealer. Front bumper cover looks great! Minimal rock chips. No damages, scrapes or cracks. Front headlight wipers are gone, but unnecessary. Body panels look great with minimal door dings. I can count on one hand how many I found. All easily repaired by a dentbuster. No major dents or damages. Absolutely no visible rust to be found. Paint shines nicely. Below you can see the nearly new Bridgestone tires up front. Ready for the deep snow! Rears are older but have a nice amout of tread on them...I'd say at least 75% left. Rims are straight and vibration free even at highway speeds of 80mph! Rear bumper cover looks great as well! Only a few touched up nicks. No holes or damages here either. Interior is nice and clean with only the driver's bolster showing wear....a couple holes worth with minimal cracking. Steering wheel is a bit worn at the top. Power window switch is missing the tabs but still works fine. And finally, the cigarette lighter has fallen thru the center panel. It's still there but needs to be reglued to stay in place. All the power items work as they should...Cold Air Conditioning, even tho it's almost time for snow. Heat is HOT! Seat warmers work great! Cruise, windows, sunroof, power seat, dual climate control, AM/FM/CD....everything works fine! Below you will notice ALL the dummy lights illuminate as they should upon startup with NO lights on during run. The "Check Engine" light came on once then off after a few starts....in the 300 miles I've logged on this car. I had it checked and cleared. It listed an "O2 sensor improper sensing". Also a typical code on the Volvo. Most likely time for a replacement. My personal 220k S70 did the same...and still passed Illinois emissions!! Big "W" switch below the shifter....."Winter" mode for icy conditions along with Traction Control and ABS....makes living in the midwest easy and snowtravel a piece of cake. Snow?? What snow! Has the complete spare tire setup intact along with some decent matching floormats. I forgot to pull it out for picture, but the cupholder is still intact. Stare hard enough and you will see the THREE (3) Factory Volvo ignition keys!! Yes these are the transponder types and on the expensive side when purchased from the dealer....now you won't have to!! Sorry....no keyless entry keyfobs or manuals tho. One of my favorite parts while doing my inspections....I LOVE to see signs of dealer or at least proper servicing. This car is REEKING of proper service! You can eat off the underside of the hood! As stated...the Contitech timing belt....Volvo spark plugs currently installed....MAHN Air filter and Oil filter....all the fluids are clean....no signs of any coolant or oil leaks.....not a Volvo piece, but a relatively new STRONG battery has been installed! Car starts, runs, drives and shifts perfectly. Turbo is strong. Brakes will throw you thru the dash if need be. No noises. No clunking. No pulling. No vibrations. No worries.
