Vehicle Detail

VERY SHARP / ALL STEEL / FACTORY GLASS / BIG BLOCK POWERED / HAS A TITLE / 10 SECOND BRACKET CAR….EASY PRO STREET CONVERSION….OR DUAL DUTY CAR!!! QUESTIONS THAT CAN’T WAIT FOR AN ANSWER VIA E-MAIL, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL MY CELL (217) 779-6309 AND ASK FOR CRAIG This is my Big Block powered Chevy Malibu, it is a sharp car and gets attention wherever it goes, it is all steel and has all of the factory glass still in it including roll up windows. Car also has a title if you want it for street use. The only fiberglass on the car is the bumpers. Car is an excellent bracket car as it is, but with a minimal amount of work would be one tough Pro-Streeter or dual purpose car! The car has a narrowed Dana 60 with ladder bars and adjustable coil-over shocks out back and uses a diagonal track locater. This car hooks hard and goes nice and straight and is easy to stop with its 4-wheel disc brakes. Front suspension/steering is all GM so this car wouldn’t have any problems on the street. The Dana 60 has Moser axles and a spool with 4:88 pro gears. Rear tires are 14X31X15 Hoosiers. Motor is an iron headed 427 with a roller cam / Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake / roller rockers / E-85 Holley 4150 carb built by Ken Jones. Transmission is a fresh Powerglide and the convertor is a new 8”. Pretty much the entire drivetrain has been rebuilt or replaced within the last 2 years. Headers are coated Hookers, and I also have a set for a SBC. I also have a Ken Jones Methanol (regular alcohol) carb that I can swap out if you don’t want to run E-85. Fuel system is all braided steel with a new Product Engineering electric fuel pump. Gauges are new as is the Biondo Mega 450 delay box / Hurst quarterstick shifter / Biondo electric shifter are also new. Electric waterpump is from CSR and it’s new also. Car uses a 3-step for launch control and shift points / etc., but the Mega 450 is capable of handling shifts by time and/or RPM, and then they can be changed with the touch of a button (no RPM chips to buy). Ignition is handled by a MSD 7AL2 – PLUS and an MSD HVC II coil. Overhead switch panel is also new and is from Painless Wiring. All wiring is new and everything is controlled through relays. Radiator is a large Griffin aluminum. Rear “tinwork” is all aluminum as is the trunk, but the front floors are steel on both sides so adding a second seat would be easy….There’s actually already a rear bracket installed for one. I have a set of standard poly (plastic) seats and covers that can go with the car if you want them. Headlights and taillights work and are still hooked to the factory switch. For street use you would only have to wire up brake lights and turn signals. The steering column is factory and the stock turn signal switch is still there, so no problem. I would recommend a larger fuel cell for street use, but the mount is over-sized, so again it would be an easy task. If you leave the car on E-85, you’d basically have a MID-10 second street car just as it is….Add a shot of Nitrous and this puppy would be a street terror!!! Car was built for a big/tall guy, so anyone could easily fit into this car. Car as it sits runs 6.70’s in the 1/8th mile….It hasn’t run the ¼ mile with this motor, but assuming it would run 10.50’s or so. All graphics are painted on the car (not decals) and save for some chips here and there the paint and body on this car are very nice. This car is a great bracket car, and like I said would be an excellent Pro Street car, or use it for both. It’s running on E-85 right now, so it could handle both track and street duty with some simple changes. This chassis has gone as fast as 10.00 without any problems at all, so if you want to add more steam it’s no problem!!! LONG STORY SHORT….THIS IS A NICE CAR….AND A BARGAIN FOR WHAT I’M ASKING!!! EXTRAS: - PAIR OF STANDARD “POLY” RACE BUCKETS WITH COVERS (USED)…GO WITH THE CAR IF YOU WANT THEM - YOUR CHOICE OF METHANOL OR E-85 CARB….IF YOU WANT BOTH ADD $300 TO THE WINNING BID - HAVE A SET OF COATED SMALL BLOCK HEADERS…..GO WITH THE CAR IF YOU WANT THEM LOOK OVER THE PICTURES AND ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING….REMEMBER THIS CAR DOES NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY THE SELLER CAR IS LOCATED IN PAYSON ILLINOIS (ZIP CODE 62360), THIS IS THE WEST-CENTRAL PART OF ILLINOIS ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND THIS CAR DOES NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY THE SELLER I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO STOP THIS AUCTION EARLY IF THE CAR SELLS OUTSIDE OF EBAY PAYMENT IS EITHER VIA CASH IN PERSON (IF YOU PICK UP THE CAR YOURSELF) OR VIA CASHIER'S CHECK IF YOU HAVE THE CAR TRUCKED TO YOU.
