67 Mustang Fastback Mustang needing restoration completed. Alot of the hard work already done. Fresh completely stock with the exception of aluminum intake and aftermarket 4BBL. carb air cleaner and valve covers stock 289 engine that was professionally rebuilt. Break in time only. New drum brakes all around. Original solid floor pans and frame rails. Left quarter panel was replaced at one time nicely done, still has original right quarter with only a dime size or smaller bubble on the outside. Trunk floor is solid with just 1 small hole (see picture) on left and right side. This car sat many years due to an accident and was completely disassembled for over 30 years until a friend of mine purchased it last year and put it back together. The VIN # are missing on both front fender aprons due to being replaced with new aprons. The original aprons were tossed in a scrap pile 30 years ago. The new aprons were nicely done and there are no rust on them or the shock towers. It is a factory "A" code car with Deluxe interior and a factory 4 speed with 9" posi rear in it now. I went to get the title in my name and do to a typo on the second digit of the vin and being there was only a door vin the state police removed the door tag that was on it and assigned it a new vin because they thought the old sheet metal from the fender aprons might turn up on another car. Boy was I pissed !!! I have a photo-copy of the title with the vin that was on it before I had the car put into my name (clear). Car needs finishing, missing the trap door and one part to the fold-down. Has a deluxe dash with clock not working and deluxe trim above glovebox. Missing the deluxe seats and door panels. This is a solid original car that was wrecked early on in its life and taken apart and kept in indoor storage for over 30 years until recently put back together by a friend of mine who purchased it a year ago in boxes. Miles on the odometer showing 69,856 are probably original. Please ask any questions before bidding and bid only if you have the finances to purchase. We take are auctions seriously.
