Vehicle Detail

This is a 1932 Chevrolet 2 Door Sedan. This car is a True Barn Find. It has been sitting in dry storage since 1967. The Owner Told me that it was running when he parked it in 1967. I pulled it out of his garage yesterday. The Car is very original and very complete. It is missing one of the little Chrome Pieces from the Right Side Hood Vents and is missing the Front Bumper. Everything else appears to be there. The Car has some scratches and minor dings and minor rust, but this car is very solid and would be a great car to restore or hat rod. The only rust I found on the car is a 1" hole on the Right Running Board and another smaller hole on the Left Running Board. The Wood on the inside of the car is all intact and in good condition. I have heard people talking about the old Chevys having wood that was good enough to make patterns from. I think all of this wood is good enough to use! All of the Glass is in the car. The Passenger's Window is cracked and will need to be replaced. The Seats are all intact, but will need to be recovered. The Top Wood is all nice and intact. The Canvas Top is missing, but the owner purchased a replacement top years ago and it is in its original shipping container, with the car. The Original Dash Board looks good and shows a little over 4000 miles. This may be correct. I have no way of knowing. The 5 Original Wire Wheels all look good. The Tires are all dry rotted and shot. Three hold air, but I wouldn't even think about doing any more than rolling the car around on them. The Engine and drive train appear to be original and complete. The Engine is free, but I haven't started it yet. I ordered a set of Points and think I will have it running before the end of the auction. The car has the original mechanical brakes. I haven't had an opportunity to try them, but they may not work. This is a great old car and would be a great start for a restoration or Hot Rod. I have posted good pictures and a good description, but will try to answer any questions through email. This car will have to be trailered home, but I may be able to assist with delivery, for a fee, within a couple hundred miles of Canton, Ohio. I am listing this car with no reserve. It does sell to the highest bidder, without reserve.
