1964 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible. New White top. Red body. Black interior. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. This auto is in very solid condition. And what I mean by SOLID is I can find no repairs to the body and find no rust holes. I have looked inside and out in all the typical and hard to reach places where these autos rust out. Have had a few Corvair enthusiasts come and look and agree this is a excellent choice for a full restoration. The body is in great shape but has a few nicks in the paint. I have been through the body inside and out. Under and on top. While putting on the new top went down into the sub panels and see no rot or rust thru. The only place I found rust was where the battery sits,, must have leaked and created a hole. I have since fixed this with a new battery box installed. The interior needs some work to bring back to original condition. The seats have some splits in the seams, the floor could use a new carpet but the panels and dash are in nice shape.It has a cassette player but comes with the original radio. It runs drives well. Now really sure of the actual millage but is common for a auto of this age. The brakes are good. The tires are fair. Rebuilt the carbs last year. Lots of other new parts to make it run like new. Have receipts totaling $2000.00 from the new top to new battery to new fuel pump, and lots more. Look at the pictures not the best camera but its all I have. Ask for more pictures or ask questions. Its a real nice car thats ready to drive and have fun while giving the buyer a chance to upgrade the interior if he wants or not. I drove it this way and had lots of driving pleasure and stares. Good looking auto. buyer must come and get it and do final inspection. Requires a $200.00 deposit opon final auction closing that is non refundable.
