This J-10 was originally purchased in Houston, Texas in June of 1984 and was with its original owner for the next 21 years. Since then it has made a journey up through Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona and finally back here to Texas in the fall of 2009. Beginning with a partial frame off restoration by its Pennnsylvania steward, it has been continually restored into a very solid (and incredibly handsome) truck. With only 87,611 original miles its list of needs is very short (depending on your purpose). My friend Bruce in Arizona (previous owner) could not bear to put this beauty to the bush for his Grand Canyon guide services so the "Princess" spent most of her time in the garage there. The maintenance and restoration activities performed over the past two years (by Bruce and myself) are documented and listed in the links provided...?I acquired this truck to fulfill one of those mid-life "needs" (my first Jeep was a 1979 Honcho that I bought new on my 18th birthday), but find it just sitting in my garage more than not (only put 1,283 miles on it last year) and with more cars than I have room for in my driveway, its time to say good bye.
