I have a 1959 Mercedes 220S restoration project that needs a good home. The vehicle belonged to my late Uncle Lt. Col. Robert J. Marks, who purchased it in France in 1960. He had it shipped home when he retired and it has been in the family ever since. I acquired the vehicle, with all original documents, six years ago with every intention of restoring it, but just haven't had the time. It has always been stored inside. I did have it running three years ago, purred like a kitten, but haven't had it started since then. Leather interior is fair, oak woodwork is good, tires hold air, all glass is good, and only very minor body dings. There is NO RUST on floor pans, trunk, or sub-frame mounts. Needs brakes, headliner, paint, carpet and TLC. The milage indicated is accurate.
