Just bought this truck and love it, but it needs more work than I'm prepared for now so there's no point in me keeping it. It's a project truck that needs some work - perfect for someone who owns a shop or has access to one to use. Info: - has about 140,000 miles and is still running strong. A very reliable and durable truck. - 302 V8; replaced with Ford rebuild in 1995 - automatic transm. w/overdrive - 4WD works fine - would make a great plow truck; has the larger off road tires - all power windows (passenger side doesn't work but I have the part it needs to be fixed) - NO engine rust - has rear seat, spare tire and all 4 center hub caps - has remote start – great for cold weather Replaced in the last 6 months: - complete tune up including all filters - water pump and antifreeze - both front long steering arms - front brakes, rotors, rebuilt calipers, repacked all front hub bearings - both emergency brake cables going to rear brakes - EGR valve, EVP sensor, EGR control relay - new fuel tank, cleaned frame all around tank and sprayed with anti-rust paint It runs fine, but my mechanic tells me it has the following problems: - heater works, AC doesn't - exhaust needs work – probably from the catalytic converter back - the rear leaf spring shackles/hangers rusted - some body rust, including around wheel wells - 4 front ball joints - brake hoses, brake lines I have a Carfax report and can send more pics. Please note that inspection is not current because of wheel well rust but this is a solid vehicle that can be fixed up and ready for winter. Now is the time to buy with the weather changing, get ready for the snow..! Very reasonable reserve, this would be a great fixer upper..!
