Vehicle Detail
1968 Camaro, well optioned including, 327, automatic, power steering, air conditioning, factory console shift. This car also has the wide stainless moldings around the windows similar to an RS. This engine in this car sounds very nice and quiet through the dual exhaust but will need some carburetor work to run its best. I have driven the car around the block and the steering is nice and tight, car felt very solid. This car has been sitting and although the brakes worked well for me I would look them over before making it a daily driver. Before it sat the previous owner has the transmission rebuilt, it works great. This car is very solid but does have a few areas of rust that will need attention before paint. Both qtrs could use a lower patch behind each rear wheel, the r/h side will need a little work in front also but nothing major. The driver side also has some bubbling over the top of the wheel well. The drivers fender will need a small patch in the bottom rear. The floors are nice but the passenger front may need a patch, it is pretty solid and complete but part of it seems like it will pinhole when cleaned up. The trunk pan is excellent with plenty of the factory spatter paint showing. The rear window channel seems good as far as I can tell with the chrome on. There is some paint peeling around the molding from poor prep but I see no holes, just surface corrosion. The trunk lid will need to be replaced also. The air conditioning is complete but will need work, the compressor is locked up. The interior is in pretty fair shape, the headliner is good as are the door panels. The drivers seat will need to be recovered and the dash has a crack. The rest shows some wear but is pretty presentable as is. This car has sat and is being sold as a project, it will need a good going over before making it a daily driver. I listed the mileage as it is shown on the odometer, I am not claiming this to be original miles as I have no way to verify that. Don't let the ugly pealing paint fool you this is a good project with the right options. We are a dealer, this car is for sale so if you are interested give us a call at 360-863-2241.
