Here is a beautiful 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix in great condition inside and out. This car has lived its whole life on the West Coast, and was bought new at Poter Motors in Snohomish, WA, and still retains its original leather keychain. It remained in Washington for the majority of its life until it came to Arizona a few years back. The car is a true 64k mile, mostly original numbers matching car and has been very well preserved over the years. The paint on the car is a few years old and is the original color of Grenadier Red. The paint job is a nice driver quality job which I just had wet sanded and buffed to a high gloss shine. The paint is older with a few chips and blemishes here and there that have been touched up, which is to be expected from a car that has been driven and enjoyed. The original chrome is nice and clean due to the low miles and always being garage kept. The vinyl top on the car is brand new and was redone to retain the original classic look of the Grand Prix. The car rides on four optional 15" Pontiac 8-Lug wheels with whitewall tires that are fresh with plenty of tread. The car also features new beauty rings with original Pontiac center caps inserted in the middle which gives the car a very nice look. The interior is super clean and is almost completely original. The odometer shows a bit over 64,000, which is believed to be original miles since this car was only used on weekends and around town and is branded as ACTUAL miles by the Arizona title. The original seats, door panels, dash, headliner, and console, even the wood veneers are all in great condition. The only fresh items in the interior are new arm rests and bases, new package tray, newer front carpet, and reproduction Pontiac floor mats. All lights, gauges, dials, radio, and windows operate as they should. The radio sounds crisp and clear, just like new. The car does also have front and rear seat belts. The trunk interior is in very good condition and has a new correct mat. The full size 8-lug spare is also still aboard as well as the jack and all original tools which all have been nicely restored. In the interest of full disclosure, the trunk pan does have a fair amount of thin spots and pin size rust holes, mostly due to water sitting under the trunk mat. The rest of the body is totally solid. Mechanically, this Pontiac runs GREAT! This car features the original 389ci Pontiac V8 which does have the original VIN stamped on the block. The motor boasts around 300hp and 420ft lbs of torque...What a monster!! The complete drive train runs like a top with no leaks. The engine compartment was just fully repainted and detailed to show quality standards with the correct Pontiac Blue-Green. A rebuilt carb, new alternator, new hood pad, all new tune-up parts, as well as polished brackets and lines were done during the freshen-up. The brakes and exhaust have also all been gone through, and the suspension feels tight and right. The car tracks straight and rides just like a Pontiac should! The car includes one set of original keys. It also has a very nice owners manual, shop manual, and flat rate booklet. All in all, this is one very nice Grand Prix. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owners. These 60's era Pontiac vehicles are becoming more and more collectible as the older ones disappear into collections, especially well maintained western cars like this.
