Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Thanks for looking at my 2006 Volkswagen GTI 2.0T 6-speed. The car is fully loaded, with every option. Power everything, leather, automatic climate control, heated seats, and the sunroof. It’s had an easy life of commuting back and forth to work with an adult driver, and you can see it has held up very well, inside and outside. I love this car, and am only selling it because my family situation has changed and I’m going to buy pretty much the same car with 4 doors. The GTI is basically the perfect car—fast, great mileage, comfortable, and you can fit a ton of stuff in the back. I’ve brought home a dishwasher from the Home Depot in this thing with the hatch closed. People really notice this car-- if you'd like getting compliments in parking lots and gas stations, this is your car. Here’s what you need to know about this GTI: Lowered about 1” on Neuspeed sport springs, with Koni FSD shocks in the rear and newer stock struts in front. I found the VW front struts to be a much better match for these springs than the FSD’s. A 4-wheel alignment was done after the suspension install, and the stock springs are included in case you want to go back. The ride quality is exactly the same as stock, if not a little more comfortable. I was surprised and very pleased by how it turned out, and how easy the car has been to live with as a daily driver. ASA wheels in black with Continental summer performance tires. The wheels and tires are less than a year old, have never been used in winter, and are in perfect condition with less than 6,000 miles on them. No curb rash or scratches on the wheels at all. Custom stereo: Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD 7” touchscreen DVD head unit with iPod control, Kenwood 2-channel amp under passenger seat, Rainbow 3-way component speakers in the doors. These speakers were designed specifically for the GTI, and sound incredible. They’re no longer made, and I was very lucky to find a set this past spring. Dynamat was installed in the doors with the speakers. The stock stereo (6-disk cd/mp3 changer) and satellite tuner are included. B&M short shifter. This adds dramatically to the fun of the car, and improves shift feel. VW uses this same kit in their Cup race cars. Spare set of 16” wheels with winter tires included if desired (Bridgestone Blizzaks) VW accessory rubber winter mats also included, black with red GTI logos. The intercooler was cracked and replaced at its last major service at 50,000 miles, and the rear brakes were done at 49,000 miles. The fronts still look great, and it hasn’t needed any other mechanical work outside of the small factory recall items. I’ve stuck to the factory service schedule, and it has always had synthetic oil. There are two small cracks at the bottom of the front bumper that aren’t noticeable if you aren’t looking for them. I’ve included pictures of both. There are some small touched-up scratches in the roof near the rear hatch that are minor enough that I couldn’t get them to show up in pictures. Paint on the rest of the car is about what you’d expect on 50,000 mile car that’s kept in a garage—small stone chips in the front of the hood, etc. There are no dents or any other body damage I could find while looking it over to write this. I always park far away from other cars, so it has remained free of dings in the sheet metal. Everything that came with the car is included. Both remotes are in good shape, and I still have the valet key, manual, and radio codes. The title is clear and ready to be signed over to you.I will deliver the car within the Twin Cities, Minnesota metro area, or will work with whatever shipper you choose if you're from outside the area.
