NOTE: To see a video of this bike running, please go to youtube and type in the search box: suicycleschopshop This started as a nice clean original GS550, that we converted over to a cafe racer style street ripper. The paint is freshly done in gloss black (base coat clear coat, not a bomb job). There are two small dings in the tank but not very noticable. There are two small tears in the seat, shown in the picture but covered in black vinyl tape. The fork seals are squishy, so if that bothers you I suggest changing them out. There is a brand new battery, carbs have been completely cleaned out and pod filters added. Tires are in excellent shape. Engine is clean as a whistle. Exhaust is rock solid and in excellent condition (worth half my opening bid alone!). Clubman bars are new, guages , front fender, and blinkers are deleted. As it sits it is truly a beautiful bike and I had every intention of adding a few more goodies to it (drilled hubs, different cafe seat, and more) but due to recent finance changes I am selling off the remainder of my bikes. The only thing left to do on this bike is to dial in the carbs air/fuel mix. Since it now has unipod filters, it is dogging down under heavy operating conditions. You can see in the video that at a stand still, the motor is rippin' and ready but once you get going you are starving for fuel when you start hittin' it hard and going through the gears. If your not familiar with 4 rack carbs, then I highly suggest you bring it to someone that is. It comes with a clean and clear title and must be picked up or send a truck to my location. Must be paid for and picked up within 7 business days. I will NOT store this bike for more then 2 weeks. After that, its $15 a day storage fee (last bike I sold on Ebay that guy let it sit here for 6 weeks, NOT happeneing again !).
