Being Re-listed due to a bidder ( fmaresc* ) that did not ask permission from his wife before bidding. Please only serious bidding - Please Watch this video of the original owner, Logos speaking about special ordering his 69' Camaro SS new in 68' & past history.I have uploaded over 150 Photos & 3 Videos in total on this listing. If you decided to bid, read entire ad & view all videos. This is as original as they come, the find that everyone is looking for. A True 69' Camaro Super Sport that was only owned by the original owner.Heavily Documented & A very rare color combination, Triple Blue. ~ 3 Day Auction - being sold at No Reserve ~ _________________________________ - The past history & story of this Camaro - 4th week of September of 1968 - Logos T. Yeh & his dad, Cheng walked into "Floyd Foren Chevrolet" located right off of Motor Mile in Ferndale, Mich. At the time, Logos was only 17 & pre-accepted into University of Michigan. Logos knew he wanted a Camaro and was handed a 69' Brochure by a salesman. He special ordered the Camaro to his liking. Since the official school color was Blue - he wanted a triple Blue Camaro. They left a $100 cash deposit & the Floyd Foren salesman told him it will take several weeks for delivery. Logo T. Yeh sitting next to the Camaro where it recited in his garage in Las Vegas, NV - June/11' December 10 of 1968 - Upon Delivery, the whole family went over to the dealer including his dad. Since Logo's was only 17 at the time, he was not allowed to signed the sales contract. So his dad, Cheng signed all the paperwork & his son would registered the car in his name as soon as he turned 18. The car was a total of $3,230 Dollars & it was paid for in full, by cash. Once on arrival, Logos had the dealer installed the spoiler for him. Logos was involved in engineering & was very lucky to work at "The Big Three" in Detroit. He worked in 68' at The Ford River Rouge Complex. Summer of 69' he worked at Chevrolet Gear And Axle Plant. Then next year (1970), he worked at the Detroit Chrysler Mountain Engine Plant. One of the few to work at all three at this time of the era. This Camaro was driven to work & was looked upon by the security guards at the gates at the Ford & Chrysler plants. Thru the 70's - He moved down into Virginia & kept it garaged. It was mostly stored away and barley driven the next 10 years. In Dec/85 - Camaro was repainted it's original color " Dusk Blue". Any part that needed to be replaced was replaced thru the GM parts service. In 1987, The Camaro made it's way down to Las Vegas, Nevada & parked in the garage. It was covered & not moved until July of 2011. Summer of 2011 - My friend past by in a gated community & seen a garaged door open. There led a 69' Camaro with boxes lying on top of it, being used as a storage. The cover was starting to come off & there was plenty of dust collecting. The original owner Logos was asked if it was for sale & he mentioned that it was not even for sale. He was in the downsizing mode & had no children to leave it to behind. A few phone calls back & fourth was placed. A deal was made & it was brought down to Los Angeles, California on July 7 of 11'. Logos signing off the title & going thru the documents of the original paperwork. The Pick Up Of The Camaro Video It was a special order Camaro that has only been owned by the original owner. A very rare chance to own this Camaro at auction at No Reserve. _____________________________________________________________________ This is an original 1969 Camaro True Super Sport 350 All Numbers Matching. Factory Dusk Blue with Standard Blue interior & Rare Blue vinyl top. Special ordered Color, as Blue was the official school color. The original owner kept mostly all the important dealer documents in a binder. The factory window was not saved. Upon pick up in Dec. of 68', the dealer had already razor off the sticker. So, Logos asked for a copy of the dealer's sticker for the car. Also, in the binder is a copy of the sales contract & original protect-o-plate in his dad's name. He even saved the brochure that was handed to him in the dealer. He mentioned that he seen what he wanted in the book & wanted that exact one but in triple Blue. Garaged kept & was kept in very good condition for a unrestored Camaro. Only 111k original actual miles. One repaint in 1985 & the engine was rebuilt at 110k miles. The interior is 100% bone stock original. Has never been restored or taken out of the car. Still has the original floor mats & seat belts. Glove box is complete. Around the front windshield is clean as well. My detail photos will tell the story. Underneath & the roof is clean. The firewall still has the factory PTB stamping. Cowl tag has never been off the car. This Camaro had from the factory Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires. Please keep in mind, this Camaro was kept in most of the time. It was not abused & left laying around in the backyard.it does have 2 or 3 dings in the roof cause of storage laying on top of it. Also, the rear valance has a minor dent. Paint is old but shows well. The radio does work but clock does not. Remains all number's matching including engine, transmission & rear axle. Still has the original Quadrjet carburetor. All numbers match up to the protect-o-plate & date codes. The original P-O-P showing all the matching Drive train #'s. Since it sat for a long time, a few things need to be done. Owner mention with service records that the engine/tranny was rebuilt right before it sat. So here is a list of what was done recently to get it running. Drained all fluids & replaced the gas tank/straps.Replaced all hose & belts. Flushed out the radiator & had it cleaned out.Rebuilt the original Rochester carburetor New wires, points & cap.replaced the alternator & fuel pumpAdded a new battery & filled it up with 91 Mobil Started right up & had it idle for 30 minutes. Took it for a drive around the block & then on the freeway. Runs & drives great. Shifts into all gears & brakes fine. All the exterior lights works & can be driven. Overall, this is as rare as they get. A True, documented 69' SS that remains very original only to been owned by the original owner. Owner mentions in the video other then his mom driving it a few times - he was the only driver. He also mention that it was not even for sale. Don't let this chance pass you by cause it's impossible to see another Camaro in this condition came again. Especially at No Reserve. Please understand that you are bidding on a unrestored 42 years old car with wear & tear overall. The paint is over 25 years oldNot a trailer queen or win first prize for the paint. It's a original car - Clear Virgina Title Last Registered in 1988 - The plates on it our show plates & do not go along with the sale. ____________________ Conclusion & Terms _________________________I have set my auction at 3 Days With No Reserve, so please only serious bidding.
