I'm selling my 1966 Chevy truck with 350 V8, with an automatic 700R overdrive transmission. It's a great cruiser. It runs, shifts out, and sounds great and its for sure a head turner. I don't abuse this truck and I don't race this truck(and the guy I bought it from didn't abuse it either..that's one of the main reasons I bought it). Also,I don't work out of this truck...strictly for cruising and a fun truck to cruise in. Drives straight and not shakey. The body is in awesome shape...if you don't want to keep it the way it is now it wouldn't take much to get this truck ready for paint...a semi-gloss black was going to be my choice if I ever painted it. I like the way it is now, but that's just me. I can go to wal-mart or a any other store and not be stressed out someone will scratch it. I drive it on weekends and to my work on nice days and stays in my garage when it's not being driven and would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. Great solid truck. Hate to sell it...need the space in the garage for another project. The Good. An awesome running 1995 5.7 350 TBI(throttle body injection) V8...does not smoke and does not burn oil. An awesome 700R automatic transmisson 4 new tires...less than 500 miles on them Good glass...no cracks in windshield New stereo(less than 6 months old) New mexican blanket upholstery for the bench seat(with great padding in the not all worn out and flat feeling like most old truck seats. Windows roll up and down great Heater blows nice and hot All signals and lights work(even dome light) Doors close and open as they are supposed to...no sagging or hanging up The hood even opens and closes straight and solid. Brakes are great...with less than 1,000 miles on them and no brake leaks. Windshield wipers work Gas gauge works New heavy duty custom rubber bed mat. Headers with true dual exhausts...sounds great. *Also under The Good* EXTRA ORIGINAL PARTS FOR TRUCK...these are not reproduction parts. Speedometer does not work...should be an easy fix...it's just never bothered me. The horn just stopped working...I think the old horn has just given up. As far as I know I have listed everything known about the truck(good and bad). There is not a title but a certificate of state registration. Mississippi did not have titles prior to 1966.
