Vehicle Detail

Kirkham 427 KMS/SC Chassis # 536 CSX # 909 I ordered this car from David Kirkham on July 14th 2007 and took delivery on Aug 10th 2007. The car was ordered as a fully assembled roller. It came completely assembled with the exception of the engine and transmission directly from Kirkham motor sports. I then set out to build the best possible engine and transmission combination that could be built. I ordered an all aluminum Shelby 427 FE fully machined block and heads directly from Shelby America Block # CSX909 and had a 600+HP engine built around that platform that runs on pump gas. No expense was spared the intake used was the Inglese 48IDF correct for the period this system alone was $5,321 The transmission is a Tremmic TKO 5 speed with a .82 overdrive this is the combination recommended by David Kirkham. It was all then coupled together with a steel scattered shield and a dual disk clutch system. All this goes through the all aluminum rear end built supplied and installed by Kirkham motor sports. The car has 61.9 miles on it and is in the Shelby registry. It has never been titled or registered but comes with all the necessary paperwork from Kirkham motor sports. This will make you the original owner!!! Now for the bad part! At 61.9 miles a rod end that holds the front sway bar on broke. The sway bar dropped down and made contact with the passenger side front wheel this caused the wheel to lock up the end result was the car making contact with a post that was on the side of the road. As you can see from the pictures the damage was limited to what would be the passenger’s front fender. It did not affect door gaps or any other gaps on the car. I have talked to David Kirkham about the repairs and it can be repaired and brought back to original condition without too much trouble. Several of his cars are used for vintage racing and sustain damage far worse than this and are repaired without any lasting effects or deficiencies. This car is completely documented I have everything from day one. From the original order sheets to the assembly of the engine, delivery records, copes of checks, parts lists ect. Please if you are interested in this car just ask and I will fax you dino sheets, build records for the engine including all clearances balancing records, flow tests on the cylinder heads copes of the order form from Kirkham with all options included in this car for example dropped foot boxes, interior vents driver and passenger sides , Polished stainless steel side pipes a $4,000.00 option alone factory installed aluminum rear end and a lot more. Or request my phone # and I will be happy to answer any questions you might have. A short list of just some of the parts that make up this incredible engine, Shelby block, heads, rockers, water pump, starter, valve covers, JT pistons, scat rods, milling oil pump, avied oil pan, and much more… absolutely the best of everything. Yes this is the second time this car is being listed the first time it was sold to a gentleman in Canada and after the auction ended and he won the car he found out that Canada will not allow the import of the car for use on the street. I believe it was an honest mistake and canceled the sale with him. So good luck on a second chance to own this great car.
