I love love love High Miler Well Kept Volvo's! Yet another fine specimen offered at NO RESERVE!! But.....HURRY! Only a 3 day auction! Don't forget to inspect the high scoring AutoCheck! Accounting for it's age and mileage, the condition of this car is amazing! It truly shows what can happen when a car is properly maintained. No visible rust to be found on the car. Only a hand full of dings and small dents (shown below). The front and rear bumpers are ridiculously nice! Like no cracks or damages. Minimal scuffs and rock chips.....yes there are a few, but on a 15+yr old car?!? Nice. Above you can see a closeup of an odd dent on the nose of the hood. Hard to see actually, unless you catch the angle right. Notice how NOT DRY the vinyl on the bumper and rest of the vinyl is! The car was just freshly professionally detailed and waxed. I seriously believe the paint to be all original and it shines nearly like the day it was new! No signs of any accidents. The tires are in decent condition with easily 50% or more tread left on nice rims. Zero vibrations even at 80mph. Michelin brand shows they were also dealer issued. The fronts have the usual outer wear but I will be rotating the tires for your trip home! These are the 15" versions so when the time comes, replacement is cheap! Below I tried to show them but there are a few dings on the hood and roof. Seems similar to hail but only a few, not many. Again, only noticeable if you catch the angle right. Look hard and you can see the black coating peeling off the roof trim. Typical for these 850s. I'd just use a razor and trim off. Easy. Above....a dent....dentbust if you like, but I'd just leave it. This is the part that blows my mind.....the rear bumper cover. Nearly perfect with only a few nicks but mostly on the vinyl portion! These covers are 9 times out of 10 beat up or heavily repainted. Above you can see the couple key marks or just plain scratches. Notice rear tire tread. These will be on the front upon your arrival. Another odd small dent I tried to show at the right angle. Interior is super clean....easily an 8 out of 10. Driver's bolster has minimal wear. Small hole in carpet before the driver's seat and a 2inch rip in the passenger left leg area. Easily glued which I will try to do for you.Below is the ONLY complaint I have about the entire car!! This is a VERY common propblem on the 850 series cars. The odometer has stopped working. The SPEEDometer still works as do all the dummy lights and gauges (No dummy lights are illuminated during run). It's an $12 plastic gear that needs to be replaced. 20minutes to replace. With this many miles, why bother?? Anything over 10years is exempt from reporting. From the Autocheck and the last Volvo Dealer oil change, I'm comfortable in saying it broke within the last 2months. Look up item #110740810044 so you can see for yourself the cost. Above you can see the 2inch rip in passenger seat. Below, even the ceiling is clean! ALL power items (windows, heated seats, dual climate control, radio, mirrors, locks, sunroof, etc) work as they should. I didn't hear the Air Conditioning pump engage which means it's time for a recharge next spring. Rear seats including the 3rd row are in excellent condition! Rear cargo area is a little sun faded with a few stains. Complete factory issues floor mats and spare setup are intact and nice! Don't forget the built-in child safety seat!! Perfect shape. Ahhhh.....books. Comes as you see it with all the usual manual. 2 keys and a working key fob! Note the "Fields Volvo" on the recent oil change tag. A month ago. Below....not a sign of any coolant or oil leaks! No spots on my shop floor. Oil is spotless and clean..... A few of the many things I love to see under the hood of any well-kept Volvo....Volvo battery and tags. Note the A/C and compartment filter tags...Volvo issued...and last but not least....the timing tag. It's been changed TWICE! Once at 67k/2000 and most recently 133k/2005. I realize "recent" may be a little exaggerated but considering Volvo belts last for 70-110k miles, most cars haven't been done once....let alone twice! If I may brag some more.....very recent brakes front and rear. 1 month old oil change (Mahn oil and air filters from Volvo). Volvo spark plugs. Volvo battery. Volvo timing belt. Michelin tires. Even the transmission fluid is clean! Car starts, runs and shifts as it should. No problems. No noises. No rattles. Drives completely straight and smooth. Fix the odometer if you like. Recharge the AC and the car needs nothing! I've driven the car for over a week for my normal driving and errands. Hundreds of miles worth. I can personally vouch for the car in every way!
