Vehicle Detail
This is a very good original 1968 classic roadster MGB.It is a dry weather Nevada car which I bought about 4 years ago here in Las Vegas. This was a daily driver and after buying it, I drove it to my house which was approx 20 miles away using the freeway(no problems at all). I insured it a couple of times and each time I took a temp. driving permit for a month, driving it everyday in town. Since then it has been sitting in my garage for a long time and now takes a few tries before starting. The purchaser would have to check the oils, change the spark plugs, wires, rotor and a tune up. Now here are the pros and cons about this car:It has a good transmission and engine, original leather no headrest seats, the driver seat has a couple of rips that I think can be repaired. Wire wheels, chrome bumpers and front grill. British factory radio, but does not have an antenna, almost new double chrome tail muffler, with hard top. Wire wheel spare tire is included in trunk but is flat and will need repair.Comes with original old model aluminum hood, but it has some damage, if required, I have an extra metal hood that I can include in this sale for and extra $100.00. The cars windshield has a couple of cracks, but is still useable as is. This car seems to have the factory paint. Front emblem is missing and will need replacing. All keys work well. The mileage is wat is shown on the odometer but my guess is that it probably has 121,302 miles but not sure.I have included many pictures in this listing and have explained it to my best knowledge which is very credible since I have owned dozens of MG's in my life and currently have 4 different models too. I will be also listing a 1975 model in the next few days. I also have a bunch of MGB parts listed for sale and some more that needs listing so if there are any parts you'd like, email me. Again car is being sold as is and what I feel needed to be mentioned is listed but if you are unsure of anything, please please email before bidding. With some good old fashioned elbow grease and restoration time, this type of MGB could fetch $10,000-$20,000. I had intentions to do it but don't feel up to it anymore.
