For sale my 2007 BMW M5 with 6 speed manual transmission. I`m the owner of the mechanic shop that specializes in German cars and bought this car about two years ago from the Copart salvage auction with fresh water damage. In 2009, the market value of the same car with manual transmission ( I hate SMG jerking transmission ) was around $50.000. I decided to buy a salvage to save some money. The car was undamaged really, but one thing, a bad engine block. It must have sucked water in at some point and hydro-locked the engine. As you can see on my pictures, there are no water signs inside or out (I posted original pictures from the salvage auction there too). I thought it needs just a new engine, but I found out that some "smart" person stole the transmission out of it, drive shaft, flywheel with clutch assembly and the transmission support from it. The car has been seating in the shop for a couple months before I managed to find parts for it. I almost decided to send it back to Copart again, but one of the local junk yards bought burned 2007 M5 with only 28k miles and sold to me complete drivetrain! The drive shaft, all supports, covers, bolts, etc. I ordered new from BMW dealership. I also decided to put new clutch in, spark plugs, air filters, valve cover gaskets. I bought car with 50346 miles but the title indicates "not actual" miles because the Instrument Cluster on the vehicle was set to Metric Settings and obviously enough, it showed odometer readings in Kilometers instead of Miles. There are old pictures from Copart that I kept as a proof. Now the car has almost 56K miles and she is in it`s top shape as can be. All my cars are that way... Recently, I had front and rear brake pads replaced, 10W60 Full Syn Racing Eng Oil, two front control arm bushings, one stabilizer link, two front tires and we performed an alignment after all this work. Owners manual book, original touch up paint, two keys and all parts receipts come with the car. Selling it because planing to buy house. The mileage can be a slightly different because I am still driving the car.
