Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on an absolutely gorgeous Ford Bronco in almost mint condition. I will try to give an exhaustive description of the vehicle to cut down on questions. I am going to cover everything I would want to know if I were considering the purchase of a vehicle perhaps sight unseen. Here goes: Who am I? I am a physician in Denver Colorado and an absolute car fanatic. I primarily collect German cars, but I also have a few classic Fords, including this Bronco. I take fanatical care of my vehicles and the condition typically shows. I will go into more detail later. Why am I selling? I am selling the Bronco because space dictates that I do so. At any given time the rate limiting factor in my hobby is space. I recently purchased a fastback Mustang that I found in Santa Barbara CA, but before I bring it to Denver, I need to clear one space in my heated/climate controlled storage facility. "Blanco Bronco" unfortunately drew the short straw, so she is now in my home garage and will be sold to the highest bidder at no reserve. Cars history? I looked for a long time before I found this vehicle. Prior to my ownership it had only been a West Coast car, and since I have owned it, it has never seen snow/rain, so there is not one drop of rust anywhere on it. I bought it on Oregon, and prior to purchasing it, I flew up and inspected it in person. I crawled under it for 10 minutes with a flashlight, and within minutes, I knew I had found one of the best Broncos on the planet. Not one spec of rust anywhere. Cars body? In almost mint condition. There is not one spec of rust and barely a scratch anywhere on it. There is one paint chip (size of dime) on hood, which I have touched up with factory paint/clear. I clayed the paint and polished it (8 hour process) when I bought it. Since then I put a layer of synthetic wax on it every 6 months and leave it stored inside on pads (to prevent flat spots) and a battery tender. I really drive it only on nice days for pleasure. Any parts not original?: When I bought it, it only had 64k miles on it, but after 18 years, lenses, headlights, trim pieces, etc had become faded or dull. I therefore replaced the headlights, tailights, the door handles, the mirrors, the chrome step ups, and the chrome grill, with brand new parts. The result is a vehicle that is really indistinguishable from new. How is the mechanical? When I bought it 14 months ago it had a full mechanical restoration to include oil change, new radiator, new coolant, new plugs, new belts, new trans filter, new batter, new tires, serviced transfer case, brake flush, new washer resevoir drain, and new (deeper sounding) muffler. The cost was $1800 and the car has traveled a little over1000 miles since all this work was done. Most of it didn't need to be done per se, but when I get a new car, I try my best to make it perfect in everyway--usually be doing a lot of preventative maintenance. The result is the Bronco starts up right away, idles like a swiss watch, and doesn't leak one drop of anything. Glass? Not single chip or crack anywhere. Electrical? Everything works exactly like it should--windows (sides and back), radio, etc. Note the power mirrors dont work because I replaced them with manual ones. Floor mats? Brand new rubber Weathertech floormats Carpet? perfect Seat upolstery? perfect Dash? perfect (not a single crack) Headliner? perfect Tires? Brand new--have 1000 miles on them Radio? Not factory but replaced with really nice Kenwood CD player. Has ipod adaptor. 4wd? works perfectly Engine? 5.8 (*the big one you want) Do I have title? yes, free and clear Ever smoked in? Never Ever towed anything? Dont think so--hitch looks unused Will the truck make a long journey home? absolutely Will I end the auction early? sure for a fair offer. Well, that is all I can think of. I am sure I missed something. If you have any questions shoot me an email and I will get back to you. This auction is set at no reserve. Highest bidder takes her home. Good luck.
