For sale 2004 BMW R1200CL Sport Touring bike comes with Boxer 1.2L engine and 5 speed manual transmission. This bike comes with following options: heated grips, heated seats, CD, Radio AM/FM, Cruise control, ABS brakes and more. Those bikes considered very comfortable on the long touring rides and it has one of the best engines from BMW.Both tires have good tread remaining on the bike. Bike was purchased from insurance company due to the damages, and it comes with Clear Title. Following parts needed to be replaced or fixed on the bike: misc. body scratches, front fender scuff, upper faring scuffed area(see pics) windshield, left rear saddle bag scuffed,top case scuffed, small scuffs on the cylinder covers,right saddle bag and latch scuffed,needs antenna, there is some battery acid spilled on the right side by the alternator cover and exhaust, needs to be sanded and painted over. Battery is weak on the bike currently on the trickle charge and it needs to be replaced. Bike starts and engine runs, also gears shift smooth and solid. This will be a great fall time project for someone who has body work experience and can fix the damaged areas, there is some misc. parts might be needed to finish it like small garnishes, and it can be found used on Ebay for a fraction of the cost.
