I have up for auction a 2004 Mazda RX-8 with a 6 speed manual transmission. Car is in pretty good shape with some scratches here and there and a little bubbling in the paint over the driver side rear fender. The driver side taillight gets condensation on the inside of it every so often. Interior is in good shape for the exception of a finicky thermostat knob and fan control knob which needs to be fixed or replaced. The title is clear and all recalls have been taken care of. Tires are brand new 245/40 18 (2 falken and 2 dunlop) and shocks (optima) and springs (tein s-tech) were replaced less than 10k ago. Motor starts and runs perfect with no issues. A zoom zoom flush was performed in June or so. Complete tune-up was performed a couple months ago as well including a MAF sensor. Other than that it is a solid vehicle. Just had a supercat with 3" midepipe installed along with a Ralco pulley set and belts, 10.5 lb aluminum flywheel, counterweight and stage 1 clutch kit. Trans was flushed at the time as well as the hydraulic line with new fluid. Car is extremely responsive and fun to drive. Front brakes were just recently replaced too. Oil has been changed every 3k and constantly checked and topped off when needed. It comes with 2 sets of keys and remotes which worked before I changed the batteries. May need to be reprogramed? Factory alarm still arms when locked. Lots of new parts and needs nothing but that thermostat and fan switch. Heat is either all the way on or off and fan knob is finicky but the actual switch works. Car is up for sale locally as well. Buyer will be resposible for pick-up/shipping. No sunroof. Thanks for looking!
