Loaded Original CA Car. Rare.THEY ARE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE! Car was purchased brand new in California in 1955. NO RUST. Car is 100% original except for a repaint in 1999. Car has most factory options including Hardtop, Softop (with original soft top frame), Power windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Automatic Transmission, Radio, etc. Car has 90,033 original, documented miles. The car is not perfect but it is a nice driver. BODY AND FRAME are straight and rust free. There are two "dings" in the front by the hood as seen in the pictures. Minor fender bender by the elder owner that has not been repaired cosmetically. A few chips in the paint around the body and the headline frames / covers. (See pictures). Various areas of patina in the paint but nothing major. Door, Hood and trunk gaps fit as well as any of the old tbirds. Floors, trunk floor, frame and undercarriage is clean with no rust. MECHANICS. The original numbers matching 292 cubic inch, 4V V-8 runs and drives GREAT! Fires right up, sounds great and steers straight. Stops quickly. Auto transmission shifts smoothly. CHROME. Chrome is decent. Some sign of minor pitting. INTERIOR. Presentable. Carpet, headliner, dash, door panels, etc are all in good shape. Front of drivers seat and passenger seat has stitch rip as seen in the pictures. WHEELS & TIRES. Wheels and tires are in great shape. No pitting on hubcaps. Whitewall tires have plenty of tread. Everything works (Lights, radio, wipers, etc). Car gets thumbs up everywhere it goes. Again, car is not perfect but it is an incredibly reliable, rare, nice driver. This car has ALL options except power seats. Although this is not a NO RESERVE auction, the price is very reasonable compared to others currently for sale! Collector owned. Collector has Street rods, frame off restored muscle cars, woody's, Mopar's, classic trucks, etc and this one gets the most attention on the roads and at the shows.
