Up for sale is a 1955 Chevy 210 4 door with a straight 6 cylinder motor and 3 speed manual transmission. Someone starting restoring this car but didn't get it all finished. It has newer paint, wheels and tires, and the engine has been rebuilt. The body is extremely straight and solid everywhere. The trunk, tail pan, floor pans, doors, rockers, and floor supports are all solid. The paint job is actually pretty nice on this car. It appears to be the original color green with a light green top. The motor runs great. Its quiet and starts easily. The transmission shifts well and has no sloppy play in it. The steering is tight and is manual. The brakes also work well. Its showing low mileage at 72235 and i believe its accurate but have no documentaion besides the oil change stickers on the door. The doors all shut nice and firm. All the glass is good except for the passenger rear which is cracked. All of the stainless trim is in pretty good shape. What the car needs is some interior work. The headliner is original and just looks old. The door panels are all in good shape except for the armrests. The front seat is in good shape but it and the back seat will need to be recovered. It also needs carpet. The front bumper is pitted and the back bumper is missing. It will need the door locks and trunk lock. The bottom part of the hood latch is also missing. The original radiator leaks slowly when it gets under pressure. I do also have the original wheels and hubcaps that will go with the car. This is a great old car that has most of the hard work done.
