I have up for sale a 1963 VW Beetle this car shows 52000 miles . I bought this car back in Dec 2010, car is in San Diego , Mom is moving out of state soon and I don't have time or money to bring car back to Ga . I need to move it soon, Car Runs and drives fine , Needs a complete brake job , There is no Brake fuild at all. Motor runs good, No Smoke, car still has 6 volt system, New 6v Battery, needs tires, but would make it for a short haul. I towed it from LA to San Diego with no problems Car still has factory Interior , Factory Sound pad behind motor , floor rubber, Key is on the Steering colum, Factory headliner, Door panels floor pan under battery is rushed out . The rest of the floors are in good shape. looks as if motor has has never been out of car. muffer looks stock. the heater pipe on one of the heaters has the end rusted thought . you can hear that in the video of the motor running. Over all car is in good shape . Yes it need work mostly body, new seat covers and carpet. still has the vw paint code label in the spair tire area. Rust repair areas that need to be done are : Under battery small spot behind front tire both sides area under rear window above the seat tray. bottom of spair tire well, fenders are german and line up great not like the after market fenders front of car has been hit the front quarters need to be replaced from the gas tank to front lots of digs and dents , over all still a good car to restore, just need lots of TLC.
