This was my grandfathers MGA which he bequeathed to me. He bought it new in 1959, drove it 2 miles to work and garaged it at night. It has only 66,873 ORIGINAL miles on the ORIGINAL engine. Never in an accident, always garaged. Top is in good condition and side windows are new and in good condition Have the orignal manual When I inherited the car it had been in his garage several years and I had the following done: I also have ALL the paperwork from 1959 to present New steering wheel, MGA logos, front and back bumpers, new windshield and seals, new outside chrome mirrors Installed JVC CD player and new speakers Changed from a positive ground to a negative. Changed from two 6 volt batteries to one 12 volt Changed engine oil Removed ground wiring and checked all tire and pressure and fluid levels Tightened all hose clamps and removed wheels and brake drums and turned drums Full body paint Full interior redo, including all seats (completely rebuilt) leather, door paneling, and flooring Stripped and repainted from Glacier Blue (Turquoise) to baby or powder blue. Cleaned points in fuel pump Removed clutch and brake master cylinders and cleaned, overhauled and reinstalled Removed clutch slave cylinders and overhauled and reinstalled Removed and replaced slave flex hose Bleed and adjusted system completely Removed, cleaned, and reinstalled transmission with new bearings and synchronizers installed new release brn and rebuilt clutch components installed twist stud and header seal on top The car is curently in my garage in Aliso Viejo (Near Laguna Beach) Please feel free to e-mail me with ny questions. :
