Up for 7 Day Auction 1997 Chevrolet (Chevy) Convertible Camaro with V6 The 1997 Camaro was the Anniversary Year Camaro and I see why! This 1997 Camaro Convertible sports a green exterior and tan cloth interior with 30 stiched into the headrest. It features a powerful yet economical V6 engine, automatic transmission with a 152,xxx original miles, Eagle Alloy wheels and all the standard features. This car starts up, runs, shifts through all the gears smoothly (including reverse) and drives, yes it RUNS AND DRIVES. Does not overheat or stall. Power windows work, power mirrors work, brakes work, radio works but there are no speakers, wipers work,all readings on the center display cluster work (voltage, coolant temp, trip gauge...) and all instruments on the dash seem to be in proper working order. I LOVE this car and hate to let it go, but I need the money to take care of other things, so my sacrifice is definitely your gain. Now though this car is great for dropping the top and cruising up the coast on warm days and nights, this is not a new or perfect car, so please don't expect that. Exterior driver side door handle does not work and needs to be repaired. Convertible top goes up and down and has no rips or tears but plastic window is very cloudy (see picture) and should probably be replaced to have rear view visuals, that will be up to you. It's never been an issue for me, as I always have the top down. Interior plastic door panels are loose, a couple of speakers need to be replaced, transmission mount needs to be replaced (they're plastic and break easily, they can be purchased here on ebay for as low as $6.00. It DOES NOT affect the transmission shifting or driving.) Hey, it's a 14 year old car. This car comes with an Arizona Salvage Title. If registering this car in California, DMV fees are paid and current until May 14, 2012. Pictures tell the story, and I have included as many as possible.
