Relist - lowered price... For Sale – 1988 Chevrolet Silverado Suburban. Conversion with quad captains chairs, third row folds to small bed. Daily Driver – Under 102,000 and counting, driven on 36 mile commute daily, 15 mpg if driven responsibly – 18 mpg on highway. Fuel injected 350, rebuilt transmission installed 2008. Owned 4 years – in that time; new fenders, plugs, wires, radiator, hoses, thermostat, belts, shocks and front brakes. Last fall -new rims and meaty tires ($800 worth) less than 2000 miles. Not out to trick anyone – vehicle has typical Chevrolet rot, was painted with bed liner paint and then Rustoleum. Transmission pan leaks (3/4 quart a month.) Muffler needs replacement. Driver’s barn door sticks sometimes. Air conditioning isn’t working – rear air / heat blows but can't control the temp there. Dash cracked. Headliner sags a little. However – starts, runs, drives solidly – not 4X4 but acts like one in the snow. Interior is clean and confortable – will make a great winter beater, work truck, or simple to-from vehicle. Chews up cold weather...dash heat works great and warms whole truck We used it to haul canoes, tow a camper and all things associated with home ownership – hauled 60 bags of wood chips at once, lumber – etc. Again – not out to trick anyone – call or text with questions, available most days after 4 and weekends.
