This car was purchased by the original owner in Illinois as an investment car back in 1979. Ordered in the very rare and beautiful color combination of Light Apricot Metallic and Cordovan top and Dark Burgundy interior. This car also has the rare 1979 fixed glass roof option, with very few made, adding to its collectibility.... This time capsule was taken on two - 1,000 mile trips and then driven around the block regularly. The original owner passed away and the kids traded it in to a new car store in Illinois in 2010. Owner #2 purchased in about a year ago and then traded it in a new truck at another dealership in Illinois.Traveled only 5,700 miles since new...Since arrival, this Towncar was brought to Florida and is being mechanically refreshed... It is in incredible condition, with the velour seats in showroom condition. I have always liked this unusual color combination, only having had one Mark V like this in the last five years.
