1972 CHEVROLET NOVA – GOOD LOOKING “DRIVER QUALITY” CAR – LOW RESERVE For sale is my 72 Nova…..car has SS badges, but is not an original SS. Car is painted in Cortez Silver and is good and straight and looks really good except for a crack in the paint on the driver’s side rocker panel (see pictures) and the hood was obviously spray bombed and will need properly painted to match the car (see pictures). Car has had new quarters installed / trunk is good / floorpans have been patched in the past and they could have done a better job (used sheet metal instead of new pans). Rear sub-frames are kind of weak, but patch kits are cheap for these. Interior is decent, but would look much better with factory style buckets or Procar/Scat low back buckets. Motor is a 350 with aluminum intake / Holley carburetor / HEI ignition. Transmission is an automatic. I planned on putting my built 400 in the car, but never got around to it (too many other projects). Hood is fiberglass and has a cowl type scoop. Car has what is basically the stock Nova interior except for the racing buckets. Car has Weld Prostar wheels on it. Car is currently set up for power steering, but is missing the P/S pump assembly. If you don’t want P/S there is a manual gearbox included in the sale (see pictures). I also have the factory heater box for the car. This was an A/C car originally, but the A/C parts are gone. Long story short this car looks really good and is a pretty solid old car that would make an excellent “driver quality” car that you can cruise and enjoy while its value continues to go up. Car runs and drives and stops, but needs some minor finish items before it hits the road: - Needs proper throttle linkage holder (cheap easy fix) - Brakes need checked out and adjusted (Always a good idea) - Has factory style exhaust manifolds, and full exhaust, but the two aren’t hooked up, you either need to add headers (which are cheap for this car), or adapt the factory manifolds to the existing exhaust. - Properly mount front seats NEW ITEMS INCLUDE: - Carburetor rebuilt - New starter - New u-joints - New fuel pump - Almost new B&M floor shifter Please note that all items shown in the pictures are included with the car EXCEPT for the headers, those are for my Camaro.
