Vehicle Detail
1931 Ford 5 five window coupe, steel body with working doors, trunk, factory 31 ford frame, front suspension with spring, hairpin radius rods, steering arm, steering box, drop axle with spindles with complete front disk brakes. Have complete set of fiberglass, fenders (front and back) running boards, splash aprons, 32 ford fiberglass radiator grille shell, extra cross member. Also a extra frame, that had been cut up but still have some good rails. Also have a extra set of shorty rear fiberglass fenders and some headlights. Selling because now that I have two infants (children) no longer have time to build my streetrod. I've already sold off my engine, trans and rear end, now getting rid of the rest. I have a clear title. and in my name. I purchased the car about 5 years ago from a guy who had it in his basement as a project. He also ran out of time. I have had it in my garage gathering dust while I was building the engine and rearend. As you can see from the pictures, the floor is mostly missing. The doors and trunk open and close and the front windshield frame is good. The top has NOT been chopped, but has been filled in. Factory frame is in good condition, not modified, cut, or welded on. I had purchased the all the fiberglass parts at a swap meet about 4 years ago, they were once on a running 31 Ford. They are in good condtion, they have no fiberglass repairs. My wish is for this car to finally find a home that can complete it and put it on the road where it belongs. Let me know if you have additional questions. Thanks, RonOn Sep-20-11 at 19:00:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Few questions have been asked and I didn't mention before. The straight axle is the I-beam style. The front disc brakes are 11". The window mechanisms work as well as the loor latches. The title is a North Carolina title for a 1931 Ford CP (Coupe) no tricks its good clean title. I transfered it to my name when I originally bought the project about 5 years ago. I also added a picture of the extra set of rear fenders (black) and the steering box. Everything shown is part of the deal, you get it all.
